Emergency Shelters

  • 605 5th Street and 609 5th Street comprise Respite Center 1&2.  The center, run by Turning Point Community Programs, is a short-term shelter facility where clients who are in crisis may come to decompress and to avail themselves of more intensive supportive or clinical services.  The combined units can house up to 11 clients. 605 5th Street and 609 5th Street, Modesto CA

  • Women’s Hope House is a two-bedroom, one bath home which can house up to 5 clients who are in transition and need shelter.  Through a contract with Stanislaus County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS), clients receive intensive supportive services in order to stabilize their situation.  Clients may stay no more than 28 days until more permanent housing may be arranged. 615 5th Street, Modesto CA

  • Men’s REST House is a six-bedroom single family home which may house up to 8 clients who are in transition and need short-term shelter.  Services for Men’s Rest House are provided by BHRS. 512 Vine Street, Modesto CA
